Sixth Form Dress Code

Our dress code for the Sixth Form recognises the senior position that Pupils have reached in the School and allows them to step away from wearing School uniform. However, Pupils are expected to wear professional dress - clothes that would be appropriate in a formal office environment, such as a bank or law firm - and take pride in their appearance.

Boys

Smart suit (black, blue or grey) with a shirt and tie. Smart jumpers are acceptable in cold weather with a shirt and tie worn underneath. Shoes should be smart – no trainers. Hoodies and any branded clothing are not acceptable.

Girls

Smart suit, dress, or skirt/trousers and blouse with or without jacket. Shoulders should be covered. Jumpers may be work over shirts or blouses in cold weather. While skirts may be a little shorter than knee length but should be no more than three inches, or about the length of a credit card, above the knee. They should not restrict movement. A low heel may be worn but they must have a back (not slip on). No jeans, trainers or hoodies or branded clothing are acceptable.
